HR101: Small business owners and new supervisors with less than 50 employees/reports
This workshop is specifically designed for businesses with less than 50 employees/reports.
We will discuss federal and state laws that must be adhered to; HR best practices and policies regarding recruiting, hiring, record keeping, counseling and corrective action, and termination—the entire employment life cycle.
We will also have exercises to help people become more comfortable with HR practices. Owners and managers will come away with a clear understanding of how to operate legally and ethically; and how to recognize issues/situations that require outside expert help!

Employment Lifecycle: Applying employment laws and best practices while managing employees from application to resignation
This workshop is designed as a follow-up to HR101 covering the 3 R’s of Employment: Recruitment, Retention and Resignation. The Employment Life Cycle focuses on applying employment law regulations reviewed in HR101 and best practices for paperwork and employee interaction during the on-boarding, employment, and termination of employees.
Areas covered include job descriptions, interviews, new hire paperwork, employee training, performance reviews, retention strategies, corrective actions, terminations, and resignations.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace
This workshop is specifically designed for businesses strategically creating a more inclusive, supportive, and diverse workforce.
We will discuss the meanings of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. We will learn how to identify and acknowledge areas your organization may falls short.
Ending with ways to create workable solutions that will benefit your employees, and the organization. Anti-harassment based on categories, protected and otherwise, is also covered.
